Travel Diaries# Explore the Longest Tomb in the World

in #travel6 years ago

This Tomb of Prophet Imran AS is one of the must places to visit if you happen to visit Salalah which is a small city in Oman. Salalah is one of the greenest place in Oman and has a very different climate then rest of the Oman. There is rain, there is greenery and a lot of natural sights to visit.

Normally the Tomb are of the size of the human length, but this particular one is extraordinary long. There are 2 theories to it. Some believe that in the olden days the people were very tall just like the Lemurians and hence this tomb is made in that manner and some say the grave of the Prophet is in the center and the rest of the part was left to the creators fancy which is a more acceptable theory. Anyways it was very fascinating and impressive for me to see this type of Tomb as I have never seen something like this before.

Very interesting. Never seen anything like that, Ever !! Thanks for sharing @nainaztengra

That looks long even for Lemurians, not that I know what they looked like. lol. Love your smile. 💞

It is just amazing that you showed us this unique tomb of Prophet Imran @nainaztengra and I learned it now that there is such a special place in Oman.

Wow is a very large tomb I have never seen before
People were really five meters in the past
Very special information Thank you my friend

I do not think people would have been that long but it would be just a different concept like how the pyramids were build for each king and queen in egypt in the olden times.

Very nice photo, rare graves, very long, I'm glad to see you here, how many meters long are these graves. @nainaztengra, 😍

That is one huuuuuuge tomb. I imagine they put quite a few people in there together or added much stuff inside along with the person. It must have been nice to see this in person oh and by the way, you look lovely in that photo 💚

I can resonate it with the Pyramids of Egypt, a much smaller version, where each pyramid had all the possession of the king. Thanx my dear for your compliments :-)
