TRANG AN, BAI DINH – IDEAL DESTINATIONS IN VIETNAM

The wonderful scenery in Trang An is considered a natural gift to this land. Trang An Scenic Area consists of bendy, winding mountains, surrounded by many rivers and mysterious caves. 1.1. Time

Spring season, (from January to March lunar month) when the weather is warm, is the best time to go to Trang An. There are many big festivals this time, so it is quite crowded.

1.2. Vehicle

If coming to Ho Chi Minh city, you continue the flight to Hanoi.
From Hanoi, you can catch the bus to Ninh Binh daily from the bus station Giap Bat, My Dinh (ticket price is about 70,000 - 80,000 VND / person). Stop at Ninh Binh bus station, continue to catch bus or taxi about 130,000 VND / trip to Bai Dinh Pagoda, on the road will go through Trang An. You should go to the temple in the morning and then down to Trang An area to go to all the attractions here.

1.4. Food

Ninh Binh is famous for its unique and fancy local specialties. There are many restaurants in Trang An complex, so when you come here, do not miss the famous Ninh Binh specialties, especially fire rice and famous mountain goat.

1.5. The attractions in Trang An

You will be downstream Mao Khe river on a small rowing-boat (4-5 people per boat) to explode Trang An. You will admire the firm stone walls, the beautiful caves and the romantic scene like a watercolor.
Trinh temple- the Thousand-year-old sacred temple is the first stop in the journey.
Tran Temple is the next destination. It is an ancient stone temple with very sophisticated patterns showing the level of contemporary artisans.
And the endless caves system such as Dia lin, Seo, Ba Giot, Nau Ruou, Khong, Sang, Toi….. Each cave has its own beauty and associates with different stories.

1.6. The attractions in Bai Dinh

Bai Dinh is a large pagoda population, including the ancient and new area.
In the ancient Bai Dinh area, you will visit Sang cave, Toi cave, Nguyen temple, Cao Son temple.
In the new Bai Dinh area, there are many records in the country and the area such as: the largest bronze Buddha statue in Asia; The largest copper bell in Vietnam; The largest area in Vietnam; Most Arhats in Vietnam; The largest temple in Vietnam; Many bodhi trees in Vietnam; The largest jade well in Vietnam.
