Thanks for that great post, my wife and I are in the process of booking a trip from London to Shenzhen after we spend Christmas with my family in UK. Russian visa for me almost sorted, she does t need one as shes Thai. The chinese visas were much easier. Will be noting all your tips for this 4 week trip!

    I hope that you will find the tips useful. Be prepared for a big adventure and have fun. It was also more difficult for us to get our Russian visas. Glad that we connect and I am following you noe.

    Pleasure is all mine my friend. I dont know how Thais get a free pass in! Some sort of reciprochal agreement I believe, hence the huge amount of Russians in Thailand!
