How to Visit CANCUN in 9 Days - Mexico

in #travel7 years ago

On January 6, 2017, we left the wonderful and cool New York City, which gave us great emotions, to head to the warmth ... direction MEXICO !!

Mexico aribemo semo come Speedy Gonzales
Arriba Arriba Andale Arriba

We will become digital Mexicans

Ready to go

Hola, bienvenida in México

After 5 hours flying from NY we found ourselves immersed in the joyful atmosphere of the Mexicans

Bienvenida (Welcome) we felt at every corner of the street

The climate is beautiful 26 degrees, sun and airy

Miguel are always me !!!

Cancun - capital

Cancun is one of the youngest cities in Mexico, being just over thirty years old, has become today one of the most visited tourism capitals in the whole Caribbean Sea. We find ourselves in the extraordinary peninsula of Yucatanand all around the city stretch for miles of beautiful beaches and lagoons.

Wandering around the city to find corners of 1000 colors is on the agenda, as well as throwing themselves into sudden unleashed dances.
How we like Mexico!

When choosing this evening's menu, it was a laugh

  • Arroz and camarones
  • Coconut Pescado

We chose in a closed box we did not understand anything

But then .... a delicacy

Well gusta el México

We have been here several times in situations to say the least ridiculous ...

"Luca we have an imminent problem to resolve ..."

In the east we had to pay attention to the scary monkeys and here ... to the crocodiles that run in the hungry streets.

Do you have a B plan?

I'm swallowing ...

Crocodile danger ..

There are those who can feed them with the dill and the crocodiles.

In downtown Cancun we dined in perfect Mexican style with caliente music by "La Parrila Mexican Girll"

Olé, besame, besame mucho

Cancun is full of typical locals.

The next night we decide to try this place called "Los Molcajetes", which is a concentration of cheerfulness.

We were greeted by a wonderful "chica" and worn the "sombrero" we were overwhelmed by their dances and all in a row hand on the shoulders of the neighbor we left for a fun little train around the city streets.

We ate, sang, danced

And then tequila boom boom

Mexican people always love to party

In Cancun we stayed at a Mexican family who adopted us.

Thanks Lors & Ricardo, their little Emilio, the cute little Lilian sister and our new, four-legged Manchas friend.

With them we are learning to "aprender a hablar español".

Living in the family is a wonderful experience.

But our adventures do not end there!

WARNING .. jaguar crossing

In addition to the crocodiles ... the jaguars also cross the streets of Mexico
I do not have to worry about it.

A close encounter with one missed us

It is normal to walk through the streets of the center and also come across a traditional dance of "Totonaca"

Mexico is a country with many traditional dances.
In this shot a man plays a typical Veracruz dance

Akumal Beach

This location is known for sea turtles that you can see by snorkeling.

At Akumal, the white palm beach seems to have come out of a postcard, very different from that of Playa and the water is blue and transparent

It's Lors's birthday and we decide to celebrate it here.

All together we passionately start by car with destination "Akumal Beach"

We arrived at Akumal Beach and there is a bit of wind

How many colors do I like!

Akumal, in Mayan, literally means "Turtle Place"

Akumal beach with the shape of a half moon has a thousand shades of blue and green blue .. a real show!

Akumal Beach is a postcard beach

While walking around the beach, I made a close encounter with a "Mexican iguana".

He walked through the path while I was walking.

Puerto Morelos Cancun

Puerto Morelos is a small fishing pueblo that is halfway between Cancun and Playa del Carmen in Mexico. This resort overlooking the Caribbean Sea is ideal for a day trip.

We thought we would immortalize it with a photo shot.

Hola, a panorama so we could only devote it to you that you are reading this post!

Playa del Carmen

Playa del Carmen is one of the most glamorous locations in the Mexican Caribbean. "Playa", as its most faithful and faithful visitors call it, is located in the heart of the Riviera Maya and brings together the best restaurants, shops and nightclubs in the area.

Hola!
Un beso de Playa del Carmen

Luca me gusta mucho
¿Qué le parece si tratamos

ATTENTION to the waiters in Playa del Carmen.

Sitting at the table, choosing the menu and changing your mind in 10's was thanks to a skilled waiter.

Thank you Juan for the great advice
Dinner SQUISITA mix mexico c / o La Caprichoza Restaurant

It's fun to choose where to work

Walking around to Playa and staying eager for the Mexican Serenade is spectacular.

A timeless ROMANTIC gesture.

I like MUCHO MUCHO.

And when hunger goes on, an exquisite TACOS for Todos c / o La Patrona de Playa

And yes .... you get that phone call from ITALIA that fills your heart :-)

On January 15, 2017, it is time to leave Cancun and sail to new adventures.

The first Caribbean island awaits us ... ISLA MUJERES we arrive !!

See you in this small island located in the Caribbean Sea.

My wife and I have been to Cancun three times. Terrific place! Your photos and comments bring back vivid memories. I had the privilege of directing a 90 minute communication/motivation seminar for the Ritz-Carlton Cancun managers. . .one of my most enjoyable clients anywhere!

Thank you for your share :-)
