Exploring a hidden deserted place "The Beatles Ashram" in yoga capital of the world "Rishikesh".
Search of a peace in rishikesh leads me to this deserted ashram. After being lost for a while in prohibited area of rajaji national park, thanks to a forest ranger who shows me the right trail to the ashram and I finally reached there after hiking for another 20 min, crossing several streams and walking nearby a meditating sadhu.

While I entered in the compound, not even single tourist was wandering.there were empty houses,a haunting underground caves, a prayer hall and main building.i could only hear bubbling of small streams flowing towards river ganga and chippering of birds.

(a beautiful graffiti of mother)
(graffiti of sadhu)
the wall of prayer hall and all other structure were painted with beautiful graffities and quotes.i felt so peaceful inside the prayer hall.i enjoy the serenity of this place and took some pictures .after staying inside prayer hall for a while, I saw two Spanish girls entering prayer hall.i talked with them for a while and helped them taking photos.
eventually I got myself clicked by them.

then we wander through haunted underground caves called as " levitation hall " and trail of private two storey rooms which were made using stones of river ganga. . It was a miraculous and cosmic experience while wandering in this deserted ashram.
this ashram is one of the hidden secret place in the famous yoga capital of the world "rishikesh".i will recommend anyone visiting rishikesh to explore this beautiful deserted ashram.
This. Is. Awesome! I really really enjoy this photo essay. I’ve lived in India and spent many days in Rishikesh but never visited this place?! I LOVE to explore the beautiful decay of abandoned places and the greenery overtaking meditation buildings is super! I’ve no love for the cliche Beatles painting but the other graffiti is sick! Really like the “mother” and the let it be elephants! So many reasons and wants to return to India! You’ve definitely put this spot on my must see list! Thanks, super!
