My visit to Plav -Travel Blog

First place from my trip that I wanted to write about is Plav, we didn't stay too long so the story should be fairly short.
First we woke up at about 11, had pizza for breakfast and got ready to go. We arrived at Plav at 13:15 roughly. We sat down to have a drink near the lake as we were just passing by to go to Grebaje, a small place in the bottom of a few mountain tops. But that story is for another time.IMG-3a06aaf92d6c408c62b2f0162d10c458-V.jpg
From there we went to Grebaje and then after photographing and recording and walking we were back in Plav about 16:30. We went to visit a hotel that I really loved and it was on the ground my mothers family owned but just weeks ago it burned to the ground after decades of work. The restoration was already taking place and I was really happy for the owner. IMG_20170729_153124.jpg
We took a walk down the dock in the lake and I was able to take some astonishing pictures.
Here I am on the dock:

An old wooden boat filled with water reflecting the clouds and the sky:

I also visited the exact place where the Lake of Plav turns into the Lim river.image-0-02-05-675dacb1befa0e9bf4f865dc29c192621b75bc708e378aa218eeb497a1332bc5-V.jpg
One amazing thing hiding in the middle of the town is The tower of Redzepagic (Kula Redžepagića), a defensive tower from 15th century still beeing used by the Redzepagic family today and you can actually talk to the current owner, who is about 60-70yrs old now who lived in there for 20yrs for defense during the 1990 war. He is really nice, he even let's you in if you take of your shoes because the carpets inside date from 1600 so he doesn't want them destroyed by shoes.image-0-02-05-3e1917cdcce2538dcba619e62c51cd88db14920add22bcd78345bfa83ce393c4-V.jpg
