Finding Humor Along the Way - Thailand
One of my favorite things while traveling is to stumble across humor in the least likely of situations. The next time you’re travelling or just going through the motions in your hometown; keep your eyes open and your soul playful. A good laugh maybe closer than you think!
Jayme and I LOVE Thai food! We love it so much that we decided to take a cooking class during our month long stay in Bangkok. I did a little research and stumbled across this gem of a Thai cooking class. We didn’t go to this one...but we got a good laugh anyway.
While in Thailand, we sometimes ate outside of our culinary comfort zone. We tried a wide variety of unknown street food, I snacked on a few silkworm grubs (which go really well with a beer fyi), and found an interesting sweet wafer that has coconut cream and fish roe on it which was one of the more interesting things I’ve ever tried. However, nothing could prepare my culinary funny bone for the lovely menu description at the top of this page.
No matter where you travel to, there will come a time when nature calls. While visiting Safari World in Bangkok, the call of the wild become a call to comedy.
Admittingly, it was a pretty darn good toilet; certainly not the best I’ve ever given my business to. The claim of “Best Public Toilet of the Year,” definitely made it the most memorable though. Who judges these things anyway???
