Flying car innovator believes he can finally make it a reality

No technological dream has captured the minds of the media quite like the flying car.

Marcus Leng of Blackfly believes his invention will allow it to become a reality.

John Blackstone, who has chased down the flying car fantasy for 30 years, reports on this Silicon Valley innovator.

This is the only thing that will make the future hellscape bearable – being able to fly above it all.

Pretty sure it will need a host of safety features put in before ever really widely used.
An airbag that deploys on the bottom for crashes. A parachute system of sorts for high falls.
Skyways monitored and regulated for travel. What to do about breakdowns, speeders, wreckless flyers and impaired flyers.
Collision avoidance from top, bottom and sides to consider.
Parking will cause issues to due to the wind when landing and taking off. What about the noise levels.
Still alot of things to be considered and put in place before it can become reality.
Then there's always the undermining by the oil , rubber, asphalt and auto industry.
Don't think for a second they would want to see this displace their monopoly.

Can't wait to see 100 000 of these flying around with people that have no pilot's license. I've seen people crash with over 200 hours of flight experience, but I'm sure 5min and you'll be good to go lol

I have a feeling there are some flaws with safety. If those blades and engines are so powerful, if anything hits the spinning blades will it explode the blade like shrapnel? Can the blades stop instantly if they hit flesh like those new table saws? Though, I'd like to fly one.
