You know there were 12 ancient gods, but poseidon was the god of sea, and artemis thw goddes of hunting.
When someone wishes you to have a good travel, he prays ti those 2 gods. To poseidon in order to have calm the seas and artemis to inspire you in your hunting. Those 2 gods were the main beloved gods to sailors.
Yes sir thank you. I wasn’t fully aware of that specific greeting but I understood it. Hence my wink at the end. I just wanted more of the gods’ blessings too.
