Outback Loop | Part 1 - Atomic Bombs & A Salt Lake
In this video series I invite you to come along with me on the Outback loop (as I like to call it). This was a nine day off-road trip I recently took with my wife here in South Australia.
In the first part we visit a place as large as England where up to seven atomic bombs were tested during the 40's and the 50's. From here we move on to a place where the most purest salt can be found in Australia.
I hope you enjoy the series. Keep watching my channel for the next episodes which will be released in the coming weeks.

This is a great post Duncan. I knew a bit about Woomera but I still learnt a lot about both places, that I didn't already know. Your drone footage of the outback is really great. I am always amazed at how beautiful it is out there (away from the mines obviously).
Thanks so much. There is so much to see out there. The next four parts of my video series are going to be quite exciting. I am in the middle of editing right now. Hoping to bring part 2 out next Friday.
Your video is rather like the museum walk narration. Very informative. A great video essay.
Thanks so much for the support. Loved the trip. Doing the video series is helping me to relive it along with everyone else.
Enjoyed your video @overlandjournals and subscribed to you on YT. I look forward to seeing more of your travels.
You present it well and the footage is never boring. Well done.
Thanks so much!
I wanted to go for a presentation which is different from the usual. Glad to know it is working. Your feedback is valued.
So cool!!
