The Semà of Sufi (dervishes) Mevlevi

The Samâc (in Turkish, Semà), also called "the dance of ecstasy", is the typical dhikr of Mevleviyya, the Sufi Brotherhood founded in Konya (Turkey) by Jalâl âlDîn Rûmî in the 13th century.
As a whole, the whole ritual semifinal has multiple valences.

On the one hand, a group of musicians and singers (mëtrëp) take part, on the other the Master (Mevlevihane shaykh, in function of qutub, "pole"), the head of the dancers (semazen basë) and the dancers, all have a white dress above which they wear a black cloak. 1. BASILICA OF SANT'ANTONIO DI PADOVA
The Basilica of St. Anthony of Padua (Turkish: Sent Antuan Bazilikası) is the largest Catholic place of worship in Istanbul, Turkey, located almost in the center of Istiklal Caddesi, in the Beyoğlu district.

A wonderful church hidden among the various palaces and it is really worth it, the original church was built in 1725 by the Italian community of Istanbul and rebuilt after a fire in 1763 under the supervision of Giovanni Dapei da Scio, but was then demolished and replaced by the current building that was built on the ground occupied by the demolished church.
