The meditation cave of Tilopa and Naropa

Tilopa's name comes from the Sanskrit word meaning "sesame seed" because he made his living by grinding sesame to extract the oil. Tilopa was Indian, (988-1069), he is a very important figure in Tibetan Buddhism .Tilopa had a large number of eminent disciples, including Nāropa (1016-1100)

Two figures of Tibetan Buddhism, Naropa was born prince, like the Buddha he preferred to devote himself to religious life. Both are born Hindu.
Tilopa was the first to meditate in several caves including that of pashupatinath, a few years later was Naropa.
Pashupatinath places that was always attended by sadhus and great yogis.
This place is a sacred place that is crossed by the Bagmati River that joins the Ganga.
The cave is inside the site of pashupatinath temple, a peaceful place

The cave is guarded by a Hindu sadhu, this place is a sacred place by two religions Buddhism and Hinduism.
The sadhus now meditates in the cave and he live in this place.
