Welcome to Part 2 of my Japan Trip! :)

Day 2:
Still a bit jetlaged but alot better than yesterday. We decided that we wanted to get an overview of the city and go to the infamous Skytree:

Skytree:
The Skytree is the highest TV-Tower in the world, about 634 meters high. Its the second tallest building in the world! You have to pay (if i can remember right) about 20-30$ to get up. Its still worth because the view is just...Well lets say you see how big an city can get in our modern society! :)

You could go 360 on the top Platform and in every direction there were just skyscrapers and houses in the horizon, if you are in Tokio this is an must see! We loved it alot and were moved a bit because we are from an little town with 50.000 inhabitants :P

something chilling:

After 1,5 hours of joy we went to the Aquarium right next to the Skytree. It was pretty cool, we stayed there for like 2 hours and enjoyed ourselfes.

Aquarium:

They had alot of exotic fish and some sharks, was definetly worth it if you like exotic water animals ;). The didnt have alot of bigger animals though but that was ok.

We were pleased, grabbed something to eat and went on Asakusa, the former geisha district of tokyo, to see the oldest temple in the city!

Asakusa:

We went to Sensō-ji temple, the oldest and one of the most important buddhist temple in tokio. Today there is mainly an shopping mile next to it.

In the shopping mile, which was more like an shopping maze, you could get traditional japanese souveniers like porzelan and geisha outfits. They had special japanese food to like the matcha Kit Kat.
Spoiler: They are not for everyones taste :D

*started to get dark and we decided to go in the hotel and rest ;) *

We really liked this district, it was really unique to see this old temples, they are nothing like you can see anywhere else. I can tottally recomend this place for you if you like temples ;)
After that it started to get dark and we decided to go in our hotel to rest until tomorrow :).

To be continued in Part 3!
