My Typical Day in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is famous for delicious seafood so this was a great option for lunch. And some Lion, of course.
You can buy a whole coconut for about 1 USD if you're thirsty.
I spent every single day under the coconut palms. It was much nicer to walk down the beach and avoid the busy main road with no sidewalks.
WiFi signal in the beach bars was either poor or nonexistent. For some guests it was a curse, for me it was a blessing. I could spend the whole afternoon listening to the waves and maybe play some cards.
But Sri Lanka is not just about the beach. With a short tuk-tuk trip you could reach the real jungle.
Or a cinnamon plantation if you're not that adventurous.
