A week ago, we spent some amazing time in Italy. I have been always dreaming of visiting Cinque Terre and my dream finally came true. More about my trip to Cinque Terre in my next post.
Today, I would like to show you some amazing places in Italy you may never heard of.

La Spezia is one of that places you should visit if you can't decide where to go in Italy. La Spezia is an italian port city, not far away from Pisa or Genoa - other beautiful places that worth a visit. We stayed in a small apartment near La Spezia. It took 15 minutes by bus. The apartment was very cheap. We payed 250 euro for 8 night for 2 persons. I think it was amazing price. You can take a bus to get anywhere you need. But if you prefer driving a car, there are plenty of rental car shops in La spezia. Prices are different, it depents on what type of car you prefer (small, big one...etc). We didn't rent a car but I think you have to leave a deposit when you hire a car (it's about 200-400euro) and have to have some money on your credit card in case you damage a car (more than 1000 euro).

What to see in La Spezia?

Technical Naval Museum at La Spezia

It's historic museum with equipment of the Italian Navy special forces, which were founded in La Spezia. To see everything the museum offers, you have to pay only 1,55 euro. During World war II, La spezia was attacked from the air. And in 1958, a new building was opened with restored exhibits.

Italian pesto :) really amazing ! You can order pasta for only 8 euro :)

You pay 2,5 euro and get whatever you want. Fruits (grape, melone, strawberries, apples...), ice cream, chocolate, whipped cream, mini candies...)
