Hi everybody!
I am Pier and I am going to bring you around the lovely Como Lake area.

Let’s start with a brief introduction:

Where is exactly Lake Como?
Don’t be afraid you are not the only one who does not know this place.
I bet you know Milano (Milan), right? So, we are in the north part of Italy in the Lombardia Region and now if you look above Milan in the map you can see an area with many lakes and one of them is Como Lake.

Why the name is Lake Como?
Because surely the most important city around the lake is Como which is a tourist destination because of its proximity to the lake and to the Alps because there are many churches, gardens, museums, theatres and palaces.
As I told you this is just a brief, I would say really brief, introduction but I will have time to talk in detail with other posts, now I want to give a glimpse of Como city.
