Traveling, the Best Hobby is Not Just a Way

Some say, traveling is money scattering. Some say, traveling is just an exhibition show. Some say, traveling is just a time. Indeed the intentions of each person is different, how each person responds to what it is like.

Some are just traveling to escape from the routine, there are just want to relax the mind, there are traveling to seek inspiration, even some who do traveling just to follow the trend (there). Honestly, at first I plunged into this traveling hobby started from the trend of "traveling" which at that time was booming in young children.

After many hobbies from Skateboarding, Fingerboarding, Touring (formerly sempet so bikers), at that time Lylis and I was curious and tried to start the trip out of town, to the places of tourist hits, and of course uploading photos miss. But over time, 3 years of this hobby I have tekuni and I live, was the meaning of "traveling" itself is wider than I imagined before.

Not just activities to reach a place, not just exciting activities, and not just a "walk".

Traveling to me is not just a mere pleasure while traveling, but it is the journey that provides the most precious life experience in my life. It was from that journey that I got the experience of what happened during the trip.

Starting from the moment of communicating with other people "stranger" in public transportation, discuss with other people from different regions and even countries with each perspective in us.

Seeing the lives of local residents different from our homes, even unconsciously organizing itenerary, choosing decisions, asking, negotiating, losing things, missed transportation on the way also provides a very valuable experience!

Apparently "Traveling" is one of the command also from Allah (Islam)
There are many verses in the Qur'an that inspire our predecessors to travel long distances, for example verse 15 of Al-Mulk's letter:
"He it is Who made the earth easy for you, so walk in all his joy and eat some of His sustenance. And unto Him is ye (return after) resurrected. ".

According to Sahal, this verse is an indication that God encourages us to do our best in working. "God does not restrict us in making income. Please travel as far as possible to earn a living, doing business. ".

Traveling is not just a walk, work in the overseas even that includes traveling. Do not hesitate to wander, wander, and seek livelihood in the land of people, because behind it all there is a lot of knowledge to be gained. In addition, traveling through the world and the created realms of God, makes us feel that the world is vast and how beautiful God's creatures are.

Traveling makes us aware that everyone has a different perspective
Many people can only judge things from their own perspective, whether they are positive or negative. From this traveling I became aware that the world is very wide, separated into millions of islands, thousands of cultures, hundreds of countries and even in one region any perspective will be something everybody will be different.

From here we can learn to respect the opinions of others, appreciate the thoughts of others, even make other people's thoughts become inspiration in our view. The beauty of difference.

On the way we will encounter many unexpected surprises
On our journey we will meet people we have never met before, we will enter the territory of others who have different habits and cultures, and will find the unexpected. I once talked to the old fathers on the train, we talked late, and at the end of the conversation he gave me unexpected advice.

There are 3 things that will make you happy forever. 1, giving alms. 2, be grateful. 3, delight your angels (child, mother, wife).

There was also a time backpacker trip to Lombok, I was traveling to Cape Aan but never find the beach, as a result I was random pick the road and find a beach that I have never known (from the survey before leaving) and its beach as beautiful as this!

Traveling makes ourselves surrounded by positive energy
When traveling, it seems always happy heart always. On the way we meet new people and we trust him regardless of who he is. From the positive thinking that is expected to be transmitted also to our lives ranging from work, daily habits, to always maintain positive energy within us.

Traveling makes us recognize the meaning of happiness and gratitude
While traveling and traveling, sometimes we do not think what is the amount of our money, the most important thing is what we get. From here I became aware that money is just a tool, a tool to buy happiness, and not necessarily any money can get happiness.

Indeed, each person has their own happiness, but for me the most perfect happiness is when we are thankful, thankful for all the blessings that God has given us, including the beaches, the beautiful mountains around us.
