They seemed to know their way around there, so we just followed them which was way less scary than stepping into the darkness on our own :D You're right, the day was totally packed.
Normally I am more of a slow explorer, rather taking my time at beautiful places then trying to see it all.
We rode by motorbike which we rented beforehand for our whole stay in Chiang Mai - so much easier to get around.

Well that makes sense, we always hired a motorbike as well, don't know why I thought you'd travel by car... Exploring slow is great in its own way, but sometimes packing the day with so much to do is also very exciting :)
