Trip to Northern Areas of Pakistan
I want to share with you this amazing part of the world!
Whenever we think of Pakistan, all that comes to our mind is terrorism, sectarianism, extremism, corruption, inflation and load-shedding but despite all these issues, we immensely love our country. I will not go into political explanations in this post. I prefer to share the beauty of this beautiful region. I discovered Northern Areas of pakistan only a few months ago.Pakistan is full of breathtaking locations which will make you fall in love with this country all over again. If you are a tourist or love travelling then you must compile a list of places you plan to visit next year. It is very awesome to explore.
I am sharing some of the mesmerizing photos of my travel.
Malam Jabbah-Sawat
Malam Jabba is a Hill Station located 8700 feet above sea level, on the Karokaram mountain range. Malam Jabba is still a skiing hub and there are many other hotels in the area where one can stay.
Anso Lake
Ansoo Lake is situated in Kaghan Valley Mansehra. This lake considered to be the one of the most beautiful lakes of the world. The name "Ansoo" comes from its tear-like shape (the Urdu word Ansoo means teardrop). The lake also resembles a human eye with a central ice island resembling the iris and a ridge resembling an eyebrow, which becomes even more prominent when ice melts on the "eyebrow" during the summer.

Saif-ul-Malook: The Lake of Fairies
It is the highest alpine lake of Pakistan at an altitude of 3,224 metres and 10,578 feet above sea level.Lake Saif-ul-Malook – ranked by The Guardian as the fifth best tourist destination in Pakistan – seems like heaven on earth. The greenish-blue crystal clear and freezing water, surrounded by giant glaciers, including Malika Parbat, reflects the beauty of Saif-ul-Malook.
Keran-Azad Kashmir
Keran is a village and tourist resort in Neelam Valley, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is located 95 kilometers from Muzaffarabad on the bank of Neelam River at the altitude of 1,524 meters.
Ratti Gali Lake
Water is considered to be one of the magical ingredients which when mixed, results in the creation of life. Therefore, it is considered one of the four elements of life. There are many sources of freshwater such as rivers, glaciers and lakes that Mother Nature has blessed us with.
When it comes to Pakistan, the country seems to be greatly blessed with lakes. Ratti Galli Lake is one such example.
This beautiful, jaw-dropping tourist spot is a must visit if you are traveling to the Northern Areas of Pakistan.
Pipeline Trek Ayubia
This is the easiest and straight walk through the pine hills of Galiyat passing right through the heart of Ayubia National Park.This park starts from dunga gali and extended towards river Jehlum. This park host a large number of beautiful birds, plants, insects and few four legend animal species. People who are intresred in bird watching in Galyat must visit this parkand if they are very lucky they can have the gimps of the hill cats. Brown monkeys can be found easily.
This trek offers specauclar views in snow.

Sawat valley Kalam
Swat is not only one of the most beautiful places in Pakistan, but it is also among the most beautiful places in the world.The valley is visited by hundreds of thousands of tourists every year.
Lower Dir
Bordering the Swat Valley on the west side was another district called Upper and Lower Dir.
Upper Dir
Skardu
Skardu is the main town of Baltistan along the wide bank of the river Indus. Skardu is the largest district of the Northern Areas.Skardu has a character of its own and has a very interesting scenery. Skardu is famous for the many trekking and adventure spots around it.

Chitral
Chitral is undoubtedly the most romantic, captivating and enchanting place in the majestic Hindukush range. It is a mountainous area in the extreme north of Pakistan. The landscape of Chitral is extremely mysterious, with its steep harsh mountains, lush green valleys, beautiful meadows and big glaciers, which have made it one of the most difficult and inaccessible area of the world.The weather in Chitral is extremely harsh and cold in winter while the summer is very pleasant. There are certain famous places and valleys in Chitral like Garam Chashma valley, Booni, Golen valley, Madaklasht valley, Arandu, Birir, Rumbur and Bumburat.
Gilgit-Baltistan
Gilgit Baltistan is, perhaps, the most spectacular region of Pakistan in terms of its geography and scenic beauty. Here world’s three mightiest mountain ranges: the Karakoram, the Handukuch and the Himalayas – meet. The whole of Gilgit Baltistan is like a paradise for mountaineers, trekkers and anglers.
