A roadside waterfall tour in Tangse, Pidie

Located on the plateau of Pidie, there is a unique tourist spot in the form of a beautiful waterfall which is a favorite place for the riders to unwind on the way. This waterfall is known as Tangse Waterfall.

Tangse Waterfall is very unique, because it is located right on the edge of Beureuneun-Geumpang Street. Waterfall right fall from the top of the cliffs on the side of the road, creating a unique phenomenon as an oasis for passing motorists. The natural beauty around the form of rice fields, and shady green trees also become a very eye-catching sight.



Geographically, the location of Tangse Waterfall is located on Beureuneun-Geumpang Street Tangse Sub-district, Pidie District, Aceh Province. To enjoy the beauty of this waterfall, tourists should at least travel about 70 kilometers or by traveling overland 2 hours from the capital city of Pidie, Sigli City. Whereas if from Banda Aceh, traveler need to take 4 hours journey.

The road to the waterfall is quite good and has been paved smoothly. However, if you use a personal vehicle tourists should be more careful, because the road conditions are winding and found many climbs. Also, do not force to come to Tangse Waterfall if the weather is unfriendly, because of frequent landslides that could endanger the safety of tourists.

Along the road leading to the waterfall, tourists will be presented with beautiful natural scenery of green trees, expanse of plantations and rice fields owned by residents. This natural landscape will always accompany tourists, as well as relieve saturation in the journey.
