"With an elevation of 552 m (1,811 ft), it is the highest mountain on Hong Kong island, ranked 31 in terms of elevation in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Tai Mo Shan is the highest point in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region with an elevation of 957 m (3,140 ft))."

We booked via KLOOK the ticket and schedules it before hand. And you will receive an email containing the directions of the meet up with your guide.

It was a 5 minutes walk until we arrived at the train station where you board the Peak tram going the the Peak.

There are a lot of people lining up and since we were prioritized due to Klook we were able to board the tram first.

Also be sure to take the right part of the seat in the train so you can see a better view as the tram ascend. Luckily I was able to grab that seat in time.

As the ascend begins you will feel the difference as the air becomes cooler and feel like a 60 degrees ascend.

We enjoyed the quick train ride. Then we went to this towering building and we proceeded to the 7th floor by taking the escalator. Yes, it's a long fall and it becomes scarier if you are afraid of heights.

One of the floors also have Madamme Tusauds' wax museum, sadly we were not able to go in since it's not part of our itinerary and one of my friends have the fear of clowns and the likes, she said it may come to life and will haunt her. :D

So we climb to the top of the building, it's already flocked by a lot of tourists and it's already around 6PM and the sun is still brightly shining.

We deliberately took photos of the beautiful scenery and secured a spot as we wait for the evening sky since they say that's the real view.

We spent the time by simply appreciating the city view in a distance. The vast skyline with ships in the harbor. The humongous building that looks so small up here and the cute little buses that pass in the street. It's like relaxing while looking at a busy city. It's like a miniature city. :)

This is the zoomed version.

As the sky dim, one by one the buildings and street lights lit up. This is what we have been waiting for. It's roughly 7:30 PM and the magic starts to unfold.

We watched this view as the cold air brushes in your cheeks and you can help but stare. The before busy people flashing their cameras stayed still after a while and all of us just let this wonderful scenery absorb us into complete peace.

I tried to capture this one in night mode setting.

After a while the people started descending since it will still be another tram ride to go back to the city.

But as we wait in line for our turn to ride the tram back we were smiling in the thought of this wonderful experience.

I will forever remember this and maybe will come back sometime soon with special people in my life, to share this magnificent view. :)

No photo can fully capture the awesomeness of the place. But I do hope I gave the place some justice with these photos I captured and shared and the feelings I described.

Thanks for dropping by. :)
