A BIG hole at the planet
Some time ago I was in Mirny, a town in Yakutiya. See photos from one of the coldest places in the world!
I flew on this plane. This was really scary and cold )))
its real diamonds, lagest is weighing more then 250 carats, price more then $3m :
its diamonds from kimberlite pipe "MIR":
Mirnys diameter of 1.2 km (0,75 miles) means that, technically, it is only the second largest open mine in the world (after Bingham Canyon). But the mines depth of 525 meters, combines with its location at the adge of a 40000 person town, makes it the worlds most ominous looking.
