Climbing Riley peak in conifer Colorado
Traffic was backed up badly so we decided to turn off the main road home to see what we could find!
We saw this large rock outcroping from the distance and decided to drive up and check it out.
We ended up climbing it to find a gorgeous view of the foothills into the real mountains!
Best a quick day trip but still a lot of fun! Would like to go back and do some roped rock climbing on more difficult routes near the peak!
