The Delicate Arch

I love travelling and one of the most beautiful places I have been to is the Delicate Arch . This is situated in the arches National Park . The nearest city is Moab , Utah . The Arches National Park is a very vast park and one of the main attractions is the delicate arch . Some of you may also remember this from Windows wallpaper .

Well this pic is from when I went there first time , and believe me I have already been there twice after this trip . Recently in 2016 .

The best way to see this is to hike a 1.5 mile one way to the top , but there is also a viewpoint near to the parking lot , so as to be able to see the arch . If you would pass on the hike the viewpoint would be your best bet .

The hike is tough ( or at least for me it was ) . For first half a mile you are in the small mountains and some ups and downs the trail . Once you hit the main mountain its a steep up hill climb . But ya its all the worth taking that climb as to when you reach the top the view is simply amazing .

The best time to visit this is at sunrise or sunset .. you can get some great captures . Once you are at the top there is a rock from where you can capture Arch with Rockies in the background.
