The white beaches of an island on the east coast of Australia
The white beaches of an island on the east coast of Australia are said to be the most white beach in the world. Sand is mostly made of silica which gives a bright white color. The sand is so pure that NASA used it to make special lenses for telescopes. This beautiful beach runs seven kilometers along the largest islands there. Trips from Australia to this beach are repeated several times per day.
