Two Words: Folding Bikes.

Two Words:Folding Bikes.

For as awesome as it is being on the sand (I'm totally a beach bum), there's something about zipping around on a bike to get groceries, extra aloe for the sunburn, and a slice of pizza in the interim. These are perfect for that. 6spd shifting with good ergos... I'm totally stoked with how easy it is to just pack this in the car, then whip it out if you want to smob around town. Seriously. I've always been a BMX'r, mountain biker, dirt biker, motorcycle rider. Me & two wheels are peanut butter and jelly. So, it's natural for me to get a bit bummed if I can't have a bike with me if I travel. This. Solved. That. BOOM.

Here's a closer look at the set of Citizen Bikes' Miami model. They pack down fairly small, 20" tire, 6-speed, Shimano bits, and a rear rack with bag for carrying stuff around. They wheelie and endo awesome; ask me how I know.

Today's Thought:
Invest in Adventure.

About @scottvanfossen

Good day to all of you, fellow Steemit people! As mentioned in my intro post HERE, I'm an avid coffee junkie, guitarist, amp builder, etc. But something that sets me apart from the pack is the fact that on a daily basis, I post positivity. The Internet is abound with negativity and it certainly can take its tolls on those that read/see it. My contributions daily are an attempt to shine light in the darkness, help others, and bring quick observations and philosophies to the table that perhaps, will help you also. We're on this journey together, so check in and be well.

We should start a folding bike gang. I'll make vests!!

...What should they say?
