Korean food 1: Bibimbap. Rice with vegetables and hot chilli pepper paste
Do you know or have you heard of Bibimbap (비빔밥) before?
Bibim (비빔) literally means 'mixing/mixed' and bap means 'steamed rice (밥)'.
It's a popular dish of rice topped with assorted vegetables, meat, fried eggs, sesame oil and gochujang (red chilli pepper paste). If you cannot handle the spiciness yet, you can add soy sauce instead.
I do not eat meat these days, so I sometimes put fried tofu slices , which becomes a vegetarian bibimbap.
You can make your own version of Bibimbap.
Open your fridge and just use what you have in there!
Make it healty and enjoy~
If you are now in Korea, or
If you are going to visit Korea soon.
Look for a small restaurant, called kimbap-cheonkook (김밥천국) for a try.
The place is a cheap and popluar franchise, which is quite okay!
Bon appetit~
Very fresh and green vegetables. Rice is out main food. So looks so tasty with hot chilli paste.
Rice is our main food, too. I love healthy vegetarian dishes. Thank you, zakia~^^
