Where to EAT, HEAVY MEALS in Iligan City? //

Hello everyone, just a refresh. I'm a full blooded Filipina, born and raised in the beautiful city of Majestic Waterfalls. ILIGAN CITY.

So here's the thing. We Filipinos really love to eat. We really don't starve ourselves, we really are rice eaters.. With that I am sharing my edition of suggestions with you all right now of, where to eat the best heavy meals while you are in ILIGAN. 😋

This is in no particular order. All of them serves a delicious and rest assured clean and budget friendly foods. 👌

■ THE RAMIRO'S

This one is the oldest but famous eatery in town. Teachers from National Highschools and public schools, government and private employees, ordinary people even the high class people. Knows this place. They've been serving the Iliganon for how many years already. Imagine I was a young kid before around 5 or 6 years old, they were already standing and established. Now I am 24 years old and I still ate there and definitely handsdown to there service and foods. It never change since then. Their famous HUMBA is one of the books! Try them out. Located Ilaya, Poblacion Iligan City.

Above picture, Shows worth 40Php Humba, 35Php Spare ribs, and 5Php Bagoong with 10Php rice. 😉 Busog ka na sa 55 pesos mo. 🤔

■ HOME OF BOODLE FIGHT

This is one of best boodle fight I've tasted within the City. (aside from our home made boodle fight in the house hahaha) This one has two branches. One in Tibanga near MSU IIT and the One is in Palao near The Strip.

Photo above, a mix of seafood and garlic soy chicken. Worth 299 and 150 only. Good for 2-3 person already. 🤔

■ DEAR MANOK

Dear Manok is located in Palao, near Landbank. A one ride away from city also. 😉

They serve unlimited rice with grilled chicken. They also have, buko halo halo. Halo halo in A coconut. The best I could really recommend from them is the Grilled Shrimp. 👌 They only serve's chicken, fish and beef here. No pork.

Photos above are servings of unlimited rice w/ grilled chicken leg and wings and their grilled shrimps with green mango.

Prices ranges 99Php and up.

■ DELECTA DINER AND CAFE

They have two branches, One in City Proper near Jollibee and the other One is in The Strip Palao. They also serves, unlimited rice with vian already. Fruit Coolers, and many more. They also serves boodle fight. Their Best Seller is the Baby Back Ribs, they were additionally famous by serving Baby Back ribs. 😍

■ FLAMOO FLAME GRILLED BURGERS

Who loves burgers and fries? This place is perfect for burger and fries lovers. Why? Because in Every tuesday of the month and week. THEY HAVE THIS PROMO CALLED : UNLI FRIES. Aside from that they also serves heavy Meals.

Please see photo above. Prices start 120 I guess. It's been awhile since my last visit.

My next list of suggestions, I don't have pictures/photo taken. Because every time I ate there, I eat directly and no more photos taken 1st or maybe I'm in a hurry . Hihi ^^

■ THE FAMOUS LECHONAN

One in Buru-un, near the Timoga Spring pools.
Other One is Dado's Lechon it is along the highway of Tibanga you can directly just a Tibanga line jeepney and then tell the Driver drop us by at Dado's Lechon.
You could also try, Voltaires Lechon, Jaimes Lechon and I forgot the name of the Lechon near City Health.

For me, all of them serves crispy and mouth watering lechon in town.

■ GINA's BBQ

GINA BBQ has two branches, as far as I am informed 😉 They have one near in Adventist Medical College; St. Mary San Miguel, it is known by many. One is in Palao, beside Department of Trade and Industry.

Price ranges 15Php and up.

■ PAPA MAIS

Papa mais, serves grilled pork meat and its (lamang loob) They were famous by their halang-halang ( a spicy soup with meat) a grilled pork belly, ilugon and many more. It is located in Tubod, Bara-as Iligan City. Just ride a Bara-as NFA, Doña Maria, and Tipanoy jeepney line. It is known by many also.

■ TITA FANNIES

Tita Fannies, is really from Iligan. Their jingle can really make you Last song syndrome. * Tita Fannies, Chicken and Liempo House* You will always hear those line if you will enter Tita Fannies and its stalls. 🎶

They been serving the Iliganon's for long already. They serve whole grilled chicken meat and grilled pork meat. Prices varies depending on the availability and sizes of the meat. They also serves combo's with Unlimited Rice. They also have deserts and other variations of foods.

As of now, I guess they already have branches outside Iligan. In Iligan, I am not sure but they have 4 or 5 branches already. 1 near in Poprock, 1 also at back of St. Michael's Cathedral, 1 in Gaisano Mall, 1 in Palao and In Tibanga I guess.

■ GRILLATO

My last but not the least entry is the Grillato, It is new in Iligan. I'm not sure but I think they've been open to public for 3 or 4 years already. Before it was just simple place buy right now. It is fully furnished and well design. I love their new ambiamce and they really serves, one of the best GRILLED Pork Belly in town in a budget friendly and less penny to be spend. Just really perfect for your daily budget.

And yes, That's all for now. I'm still exploring our Iligan, among syudad. Mabuhay! There are still many places on where to eat here in Iligan. Let's all find and discover.
