Business trip to Santiago del Chile and Valparaiso

Sometimes I have some business travel opportunities that make my job better.
I’m from Italy (but it’s another story) and I stayed in Santiago del Chile for two weeks this year.
Well, Santiago del Chile today is one of the most polluted cities in the world

So, during the weekend, I decided to move to Valparaiso. Valparaiso is a seaside city (Pacific coast) quite close to Santiago where there is one of Pablo Neruda’s houses.
Compared to Santiago, Valparaiso is more colorful

With some nice touristic spots, but you can find poverty as well.

You can also eat something typical… such as seafood with cheese o.O (I didn’t like it so much)

...and a quite good dessert named ALFAJORES.

You can find them into a closed door with a signboard in a little street.

You knock and the pastry chef open the door, you can take two alfajores for less than one dollar!

I enjoy a lot my business trips when I can discover such far away corners of the worl!
