Alright, this is my first formal steemit post after an introduction post. I have traveled a lot and Istanbul is one of the place that I love the most. For me, this town is very unique, it has a part of Asia and another part of Europe. It has a long history of Byzantium, and later Constantinopel. It has beautiful buildings, the Hagia Sophia, Blue mosque and the beach. Here is some of my photos.

I believe Turkish government should has been very successful with their tourism projects. You know that we, the traveler from developing countries, usually have problems with visa application. But the Turkish E-visa system really helpful for me. The application is easy and the payment event can be made without credit card. YES, no credit card is required for Turkish e-visa application. Instead, we can use the debit card. So you do not have to apply such a credit card before traveling there.

Once you get at the airport, there are a lot of option for public transport. You do not have to take taxi, which is expensive and not for the backpacker like me. Public transport is always cheaper and a good option for saving money.

There are also a lot of options for accommodation around Istanbul. The price is reasonable, depend on what you are looking for. They have hostels to 5 stars hotels.

Food is also cheap and most importantly halal for the Muslim traveler. So, once you get to Istanbul, do not only visit the Hagia and surrounding area, but also try their food. Diet is for tomorrow.
BTW, here is my Harry Potter Style :)
