Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2019 where I started the year by getting eaten by snow. Literally.

For awhile, me and the family had been planning to go snowboarding (skiing ew, jkjk). I flew in through Switzerland where my uncle and aunt picked me up and drove a few hours into our second hometown - Westendorf.

Being in Berlin, I did not know about the crazy warnings going out - snow snow snow! Which was both a good thing and a bad thing.

Good thingsBad things
Snow security 💪Hard to get there
Fresshhh powder 🌨Closed slopes
Amazing sightsClosed roads
Closed lifts
Closed everything
Bad sight

I mean, I suppose this looks really bad - but, I must say that the points on the left side might count for +100. Ofcourse some wicked snowboarding didn't go without some wicked pictures taken.

I'd love to take you on my trip with me.

Let's start with a panorama <3 Click to enlarge!

There's been so much snow lately in the mountains. We only go hiking to the mountains and we had to skip a few weekends as there was zero visibility. It looked like all the Alps were under one big cloud :D But these days it's better and actually very sunny. It's a pity that you didn't wait with your winter activities for a bit :)

I like your photos and it looks like you had fun anyway :)

Have a great start of the week!

Oo, where are you from? You live nearby?

And yes, it was insane. Very bad visibility, but that came with amazing snow though.

It's a trip we had to book in advance as it's like 10 hour drive and the prices can go nuts. Aswell as we were with quite a big group so needed to make sure everyone was available.

Happy week!

I live in the northern Switzerland so it takes me around 1.5 hours to get to the Alps :) We couldn't go there for several weeks because of the weather. It's been horrible but last couple of weeks were much better so we could enjoy some nature as well :)

Have a lovely weekend!

Ahh haven't seen you in awhile :) It's good to see you enjoying yourself!

Yeah, I know :( It's been awhile haha, do thought I'd post something. How have you been?
