Chishakuin Temple - Kyoto, Japan 京都・智積院

I visited Kyoto for 3 days to see my friend.
This is the second blog about my Kyoto trip.

This place is [ Chishakuin Temple ] . (Link to HP http://www.chisan.or.jp )
It is located in Kyoto city.
This temple is the head temple of the Chisan School of the Shingon Sect of Buddhism.

This temple has some important historical halls.
Among those halls, the most famous hall is Scenic Garden. 名勝庭園

This Scenic Garden has a small hill and a pond.
Rocks and trees are skillfully allocated on and at the bottom of the hill.
That makes perfect balance.
And the pond extends under the porch which we stand.
You can enjoy those beautiful garden sitting on TATAMI (Japanese straw mat)

Sometimes you might feel uncomfortable because there are so many tourist in Kyoto.
Well-known tourist spots has the crowd.
Actually This Chishakuin Temple is a little-known tourist spot.
You can spend relaxing time there.
