Absolutely the only opinion that matters is one's own. It's the only one that should effect an individual. There's so many varying thoughts, opinions, and frames of mind out there that no one should focus on any of them from an outside source unless it directly effects one's personal path in a manner that is unavoidable. If this isn't the case then why bother? I'm glad you're taking some time for yourself my friend. My wife and I are heading to the beach in about three weeks to do the same without the kids.......... it can't come fast enough......... have fun!
From my point of view, sometimes we have tu jump in even though it doesn't affect ourselves personally. That's at least how I understand the principle of community. I could easily lean back and look away, I've achieved everything and more than I ever dreamt of on this platform. But I'd love see more people having similar opportunities, and that's the reason why I raised my voice. Yet I won't do it ever again, since I don't need any type of drama in my life. I know who I am and that's enough.
