Surprising historic Telde and BEST snorkelling place on Gran Canaria Tufia
Historic Telde and playa de Tufia beach on Gran Canaria can be perfectly visited as a day trip once you visit Gran Canaria. Both in Tufia as in Telde there are loads of things to do. Including snorkeling in Tufia, one of the best snorkeling places in Gran Canaria.
Telde is a very historic city, with great authentic streets with beautiful coloured houses. While Telde has houses with blue touches is around a bay and offers brilliant snorkelling opportunities.

Telde is the old / previous capital of Gran Canaria. Now Las Palmas has the honour to hold this name. But Telde is older, was the first and offers a great peace with some beautiful architecture and colourful houses. A perfect day trip from Las Palmas.
Tufia on the other hand has a beach. The beach contains black volcano sand and is a perfect snorkeling destination in Gran Canaria and can also be done as a day trip when you are on Gran Canaria.
Tufia is a kind of hidden beach and very popular by locals but not well known by tourists.
