A charming old town on Yomjinda Road, Rayong province, in the East of Thailand
Rayong is a small province in the East of Thailand which is not far from Bangkok. Apart from being a city with beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Thailand, there is also a charming old town on Yomjinda Road in Rayong, which is another tourist attraction that I would like to recommend to you. Especially if you are vintage lovers, you will surely like to walk around and take tons of photos.
Yomjinda Road is said to be the first road in Rayong province that is parallel to the Rayong River. It was the first trading center of this eastern coastal city in the past.
The community at Yomjinda Road has the charm of old times. You can walk around and admire old buildings, old houses, and the way of life of the local people.
In addition to the old houses preserved in the past, on Yomjinda Road, there are also colorful street arts which display daily life of local people in the old days.
Every Saturday and Sunday, the road is closed to make it a walking street, so you can go for a leisurely walk, take beautiful photos, find delicious food to eat, and experience the atmosphere of the past.
Last but not least, in this old town, you will also find the Chinese shrine which is magnificent and attractive with various fascinating things.
I’m quite certain that you can take a lot of photos from this trip.
It’s worth visiting.
