- How to say "hello" or "goodbye in Italian"? Very simple, there is a simple word for both the meanings:

more informal: Salve!

Potevi limitarti a sì e ti avrei ringraziato per avermi corretto, sarebbe stato un commento costruttivo a riparazione della mia svista e l'avrei anche upvotato perché davvero utile, invece hai commentato con un tono saccente e distruttivo. Awesome!! I always think it's funny how the word for 'left' in other languages is like 'sinister' 'weird' 'crazy'. As a lefty I'm like ...hmm is there something I should know about here??
Yes, we use also "sinistro" with the meaning of weird, or disturbing, worrying. Even the English language has latin influence due the ancient roman domination you know... but there are hundreds of words coming from Latin, it would be interesting a list of them and a comparison with the different meanings.
