Trip to the City with the Most Amazing Sea Food - Valencia, Spain

Hey guys, 

It's my first post in Steemit community and for the sake of all future friendships and amazing people I'm about to meet I'll be honored to share with you the main thing that unites the world! It's not politics, definetely not religion and not the bills that you pay for your electricity. It's food! Yeah, food unites us and gives us the possibility to fully enjoy the moment and take a breath while slowly chewing with a smile. 

Having a trip to Spain is always great. It's always sunny, there is a lot of history out there, the people are very charming and open towards foreigners. And Valencia is not an exception. 

The city is very old and full of historic sites, but in the same time you have this whole City of Arts and Sciences near by the center. So you can see a castle and an amazing modernistic building in just 10 minutes walking distance from each other. 

Personally I find the old architecture part of the city's cultural heritage more charming. There are so many different layers of history that may be found in all the buildings on just one single street. 

Even though Valencia has a lot to offer, what makes it unique is the food! It's simple, traditional and made by all of the fresh ingredients that you can find in the whole area of the city. I'm a big sea food lover and when I tried the octopus from the picture below my girlfriend described my reaction as "extremely happy puppy that gets to eat his favourite toy for a first time after his teeth have grown big enough". 

And here comes the time for the king of Valencian's food! This seafood paella was so delicious and beautiful that I was ready to eat it all day long. Too bad my girlfriend stopped me with the words "If you have 1 more plate with this, tonight you won't be able to fit in the kingsize bed, babe".
