The Sanetti Plateau, Ethiopia.
The largest high altitude plateau In Africa and home to the critically endangered Ethiopian wolf. I had to run a fair distance to catch up with the pack to capture this image. My lungs where burning but it was worth it!
This is something I did not know that we have wolves in Ethiopia, what an experience to see these lovely animals. Love the red colouring with black tails. Very envious of you seeing this @timspawls
Thanks @joanstewart. We do indeed. They where called Simien foxes for a while but DNA test have proved they are true wolves. They hunt rodents up there so although they live in packs the hunt alone. I grew up in Ethiopia so I have been lucky enough to see them many times :)
