Greece Experience #1: Icaria

Icaria, a island in the Aegean See. Like once Ikarus, who according to greek mythology fell into the sea nearby this island, i fell into this distinct, willful and free island life. But i survived ;)

The topography of this island varies between green landscape and grew rocky parts at the Plateau of Erifi, where mainly goats live. The inhabitants of the island are a great mixture between old-established and people from all over the world, mainly dropout-persons. I got the people known as laied back, open and helpful. According to "The Secrets of a Long Life" by Dan Buettner Icaria belongs to a group of special places in the world with a the extraordinary longevity rate. I explored the beaches, mountains, hot springs and delicious food. Enjoy the pictures!
