Hello Steemitons, I would like to talk to you today about Maragogi

Maragogi is a city located on the north coast of Alagoas state, sitting 125 km between its capital Maceió, and Recife, the capital city of Pernambuco. Maragogi is within the Coral Coast, a most fascinating strech of Northeastern Brazil´s beach front, covering 120km of coast fully decorated with coral reefs. This area is a natural reserve protected by IBAMA.

It is a major tourist hub and it is known as the Brazilian Caribbean, because of the tranquility and clear colour of its waters. Maragogi also has very similar climate to Central America region.

The beaches are certainly the main tourist attraction here, they cover 22 km of coastline, boasting singular beauty and unique characteristics. During the low tide times natural pools of crystal clear water are formed at sea, this is when visitors and locals go swimming along the coral reefs and schools of colouful fish. This is the most fun enviroment for snorkling. As for the more adventurous, diving is also an option. Just look for the trained professional divers in the area; they will provide you with safety at all times whilst underwaters.

Maragogi is ideal for a family trip and for those seeking direct contact with nature, its incredible beauty as well as its gorgeous landscapes only make travellers long for more; and most of them don’t take long to come back again, and again, and again.
