Ronda, Andalusia spain, part 2
The town of Ronda with its white houses, in Spanish "los pueblos blancos"
The houses with white walls, the narrow narrow streets and the splendid views offered on the outskirts of these villages are the legacies left by the Moors who ruled the south of Spain for seven centuries.
The white villages are generally situated on top of hills, which highlights them.
The white village of Ronda dates from the ninth century and is located in the northeastern part of the province of Malaga, 113 kilometers from the capital. Its 35,000 inhabitants can boast of living in one of the most spectacular villages of Malaga. Ronda is on a plateau divided by the gorges of El Tajo, 100 meters deep. The bridge that connects the two parts of the city is known throughout the world as "El Puente Nuevo" and is one of the monumental assets of the village.
