Memories of my first New Year in the United States
It was the 31st of December, 2014 and I was hours away from celebrating my first ever new year in the United States of America. I had been invited by my aunt to Seattle to spend the Christmas with them and also the new year.
I had decided to spend the entire day on the 31st at the Boeing Museum (an article about the museum visit coming soon!), after which I decided to take explore Seattle downtown before heading home to celebrate new year with my aunt and her family.
Among all the places I visited, the best one was the Sky View Observatory at the Columbia Center in Seattle downtown. The view from the sky view floor was spectacular! I never got a chance to visit the space needle at Seattle, but they say the view from the sky view is any day better than the one from space needle.
Earlier in the day, I had gone on the "Ride the Ducks" tour and we were shown the Centurylink Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks football team, from outside. I had just started learning American football from my uncle, who was himself a die-hard Seahawks fan. The view of the stadium from the sky view deck was jaw dropping.
I will soon write an article about the other places I visited in Seattle, soon.
I wish to go to Seattle again and relive the amazing moments.
