My huge BRAZILIAN birthday and SURF dream

You already know from my previous posts how kids birthday looks like here. Huge party, with a lots of sweets and gifts.

I spent my 21st birthday in the most Brazilian way that any adult can imagine here. Churrasco - which is Brazilian barbeque - and caipirinhas (we had another alcohol too haha). With all the restaurant and hostel team - that is my family too now - it was impossible not to love it so even though it was my first birthday outside Poland, I felt so much home. I even had birthday cake - we just didn't buy candles for the cake as the only numbers I've found were 4 and 5 :)

Few days before my birthday, thanks to the help of one of my friends' I got to buy my own surfboard. First surfboard ever :) Best birthday gift for myself that I could imagine. Now I surf every day, and even though it's not so easy and I still make some stupid mistakes, but it's such a rewarding feeling when you catch a wave and standing up on the board after 2 hours of trying. All in all, surfing is about all the lifestyle. I always loved sea and the ocean, sound of the waves was always the most beautiful sound for me, and I was always dreaming about waking up early to go surfing or doing a day trip to catch the waves on different beaches. Now when I'm living here, finally I can make my dream true - and I cannot think of anything better in life right now.
