Here Are The Top Foods That Change Your Life
Simply put, some foods are just better than the rest.
The superfood fad is among us people, like it or not. While there are long lists all over the internet about them, I wanted to condense the long list of superfoods into 5 that have the power to change your life. I also found that the other lists only brush the surface on how these foods can benefit your health. I want to go a step further to try and try and explain whats really going on when you take your first bite. In no order, here are the 5 foods that can change your life.
While they can be used for other things rather than Guacamole for your chips, avocados are one of best foods out there for you. Avocados are rich with B vitamins along with vitamin K. This is good news because B vitamins play a huge role in your body. They are a major help with cellular metabolism, which summed up, is all the biochemical reactions inside your cells. Pretty much every task your cells perform inside your body require cellular metabolism (it’s important, just know that). Don’t forget about the group of fat soluble vitamins that go by the name vitamin K. Vitamin K helps create proteins that are responsible for blood coagulation. So, next time you cut your finger and the bleeding stops after a few moments, thank the avocado you ate. Avocados are known for having quite of bit of fat in them. To be more specific for you, 75% of the total energy you gain after consuming an avocado, is all from fat. Don’t let that fool you though, its the good kind. The fat found in avocados are whats called monosaturated fats. These monosaturated fats,or more specifically oleic acid, found in avocados help lower LDL(low-density lipoproteins)and cholesterol. So try some avocados with something else other than sodium infested corn chip and enjoy all of its benefits it has to offer.
2. You knew it was coming but you hoped it wouldn't. The next item on the list is kale, or otherwise known as the thing you pick out of your salads. Some people cant stand it and others cant get enough of it. While it can be hard to like, it does bring some great health benefits to the table. It is considered one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. With a single cup of kale adding up to a whopping 33 calories and being packed full nutrients, Kale’s calorie to nutrient ratio is hard to beat. I mean, just look at these numbers for just one cup of kale:
Vitamin A: 206% of the RDA (from beta-carotene).
Vitamin K: 684% of the RDA.
Vitamin C: 134% of the RDA.
Vitamin B6: 9% of the RDA.
Manganese: 26% of the RDA.
Calcium: 9% of the RDA.
Copper: 10% of the RDA.
Potassium: 9% of the RDA.
Magnesium: 6% of the RDA.

So hate it or love it, you should try and get some kale in your diet. Being high in antioxidants, Kale will help fight off free radicals that cause oxidative damage in your body. This type of damage is one of the leading causes for cancer. EAT SOME KALE!!!
