Dog Days of Summer? It is on the Beach!

Coastal living is what it's cracked up to be! It's funny I live 3 miles from the beach and yesterday was the first day I have been all summer. The better half and I rode our beach bikes down to the beach about 8:00am. Here in South Carolina - Sullivan's Island to be specific they have a leash law that seems to be working. The law was fought at first but now excepted. You can let your dogs run free up to 10:00 am.

We noticed everything from a dog you can put in a purse to the big danes all having fun together. Running through the water and fetching sticks they find scattered along the coast line. The non dog lovers were still entertained by the pure joy the canines were expressing running around the beach.

I hope you can enjoy our part of the country in number one placed voted across the country to vacation. Charleston has a special atmosphere about it that you will notice from the time you arrive and check in. Come on down to the beach early in the morning and watch the sunrise and our canine friends starting their day!.
