It was 10 o'clock when we decide to go to the streets. We heard already the sound of music and we knew, the party was going on! The first thing we wanted to do was visiting the Steemit stand, around 2 km away from our place. After a 20 minute walk, we arrived. They had a cool photo booth and I couldn't let it to make a picture!

After the visit, we went back to the hostel for lunch. In the Philippines they used to make a lot of food for every celebration, so for a fiesta as Sinulog ass wel! @wanderingdanish and @iwanderela prepared food for all the guests!
Jhon was helping with cooking ass well , he was barbecuing chicken when we arrived back by the hostel. They all are so kind and braught an awesome group together for an awesome party! @Jhezontheroad also attended, he was the one with the best Sinulog outfit, no doubt about that!

Not so much after lunch, it was time to go outside! Outside, exploring and experiencing my first Sinulog! The festival was located just in front of the hostel, near mango Avenue and a few other streets. We went outside and immediately we saw a group performing on the street!

Since all the people looked so colorful, the street dancers ass well the public, we couldn't stay left behind. We also put some face painting on our face and added some colors to our hairs. We wanted to be part of all the beautiful colors of the party!

Many people, ready for a good party!

The festival is definitely family friendly, but sometimes it can be a little bit crowded. A lot of parents go out to watch the street dancing with their kids.

Just walking around the streets is already awesome, the smiles on hundreds of faces are priceless and you can call Cebu everything but a poor city, with so much hapiness around the streets.

If you are hungry, you can find plenty of street foods along the road, and decoration like Sinulog shirts ir masks ass well!

Masks to finish your festival look

As we walked further, trough a street without the original Sinulog activities, the celebration is still going on! Everywhere are groups of people drinking, even while there is an alcohol ban for the day. I can read the happiness of their faces while they are calling Pit Senyor to us!

Spread out over whole the city, there are people who are walking around with face paint. As you pass them by, they can put it on your face to add a little bit color to your festival appearance! It is an tradition I have never seen before in the Netherlands but I really like it for a festival!
