In this past December I was able to witness this...
A man jumping down a 7,000 vertical drop from the peak of Aiguille du Midi to fly his way back down in just a few minutes to the beautiful village town of Chamonix, France.
It was one of the most amazing experiences I've had in my whole life.
Before witnessing this I believed I was a brave and adventurous person but there is absolutely no way I could get my mind around dropping off of something like this to be saved simply by a few pieces of fabric.
Here is a collection of other amazing things I was able to see in Chamonix, France on my December trip across Europe:
Base of the mountain - that tiny sharp point is where the jumper began his ascent.
Breathtaking view of Chamonix from peak pointed out in picture above
An ice cold creek running through the middle of Chamonix
Walking through Mer De Glace ("Sea of Ice") - One of the largest glaciers in Europe
Establishment on the top of the mountain where the lift brings you up to
Enjoying the views off of the 12,391 ft. peak of Aiguille du Midi
Thanks for reading. Hopefully more adventures like this to come!
