ENTRANCE and EXIT are very easy for snorkelers and divers. At the beginning of the dive, there is sandy/rocky area’s where you can spend time looking at the small fish like the Leaf Pipefish or frogfish hanging on or near to the seagrass. Out a bit further you are greeted with an array of highly coloured different species of Soft Coral with isolated areas of Hard Coral. Out even further approx 30m from the entrance you have reached the CROWN OF THE JEWEL.
Amazing fields of brightly colour Hard Coral. spend a bit of time in this area taking photos or video looking for the critters, find a nice sandy area, settle down and adjust your equipment, check your camera or video and get ready for the amazing wall dive, you can either dive straight over and take the sheer drop down or find between the reef a nice gradient by driving along the edge of the reef, there are some ledges on the way down 15m 25m 40m and even deeper for the Tec Divers.
The wall consists of small caves, impressive overhangs and cracks running all the way from the top of the reef. It’s a good idea to bring a torch, don’t worry if you do not have one we have lights for rental at a very reasonable cost.
Our experienced dive guide and instructors are highly knowledgeable about the marine life at the reef and it’s inhabitants and fish behaviours with a wealth of knowledge on different areas and interests.
