Vietnam wasn’t actually on my list, but your posts makes me want to go there. Do you still see a lot of French influences there? Thanks for showing Hanoi in this great post, really liked the Văn Miếu temple.

It's a great country! French influences are everywhere. Like backcountry villa's where the rich French spend their holidays, or the Bánh mì which is some kind of a sandwich made from a banquette but with Vietnamese toppings. Usually meat and fresh vegetables and cilantro. They sell it everywhere on the street. Another thing is that the French had a lot of hill stations. These villages have these small Eiffel tower inspirited radio towers. These are just a few examples =)
