Old Bald Man Called Leptoptilos Javanicus | İndonesia
Quiet Birds Standing Still All Day
Look at those awesome mimic expression. It's differently amazing, watching these birds rather than the other birds i've seen. At my first sight, he like a bald, tall, and thin man. Yes, this stork is called Bangau Tong-Tong in Indonesia, and its Latin name is Leptoptilos Javanicus. Rarely seen now these big birds in their real habitat as it's number decreased day by day.

Hutan Lindung Forest Park
This animal I saw in a park in my small town, Langsa. It's a kind of small forest that has a fish pond in the middle and big trees surrounded, where the locals usually walk to spend some times, walks and having fresh air between the green trees. Well, in this small forest the local government maintains several animals such as horses, snakes that are caught in people's gardens and also these storks Leptoptilos Javanicus. Visitors are often surprised to see this animal that seems as old, even though the appearance of this bird does seem old even though he was young.
Grinning Mimic & Black Metallic Feather
This aves has a long, hard beak which is rather pale yellow in color and the easiest to recognize this species is its bald head and on the back of its scalp grows several strands of dark hair sticking out. Her eyes are sky blue. When I watched his face, as if he was grinning with a cruel and scary look, maybe that's just my feeling. I plan not to get close to the knife-like long beak. I captured one, while it blinking with a thin membrane covering his eyes.
Silver Legs
Another amazingly about this bird's behavior was the way it walked slowly and stiffly as if its long silver legs seemed to be almost broken but it's not. Like it sneaking around and reminding me of a flag ceremony official who walked stiffly and upright.
In their wide, tall wire fenced cages, they live on green grass, trees and fish ponds. Their food is what they usually find in watery places in rice fields and swamps, like toads and small insects. In this place they not hunting but fed. They are magnifique, aren't they? Have you ever seen them too in any part of the world? Please let me know in the comment section. Have a nice day everyone!
